As you read this, people in Mumbai are dusting off barely-used jackets, hoodies, and sweaters in order to weather the winter that has finally set in. Temperatures in India's financial capital have dropped significantly over the past few days, averaging a shiver-inducing 29 degrees Celsius during the day time and often dipping below 25 degrees Celsius by night.
Brrrr.
Of course, people from other parts of the country, such as Delhi, don't quite appreciate the average Bombayite's response to this punishing weather. An out-of-context clip from the film Yaadein (2001) has gone viral on Facebook for highlighting this very difference in perceptions.
