Since he joined Twitter in January 2009, Narendra Modi has tweeted over 10 thousand times. His lightning fast messages on his social media sites, which includes Facebook, are all his own doing, a recent RTI query reveals.

The eye-popping factoid in a series of interesting facts about Narendra Modi's life as PM revealed under the Right to Information Act is perhaps the internet speed he enjoys in office--34 mbps!

The Prime Minister hasn't taken a single day off since he took charge on 26 May, 2014. In fact, his office claims he is "on duty all the time”.

While he has been abroad for 18 foreign trips in the 18 months he has been PM, he has also been on 10 domestic trips, which means he has been on the move for 100 days since last May.

While there has been much debate over his educational qualification — his claim that he has a masters degree from Gujarat university has been contested by some — the PMO said that Modi has a masters in political science.

Getting in touch with a PM has never been so easy — or so difficult, depending on which way you look at it. While the public channels of communication to the PM have opened up — you could message him on Twitter and Facebook, or "interact" with him via his personal website — he has no official mobile phone number, since the PMO apparently never gave him a phone, according to another response to an RTI query. The PM also has not appointed a media advisor, in a departure from the convention set by his predecessors.

Modi also pays for all his grocery bills himself, as according to the RTI response "kitchen expenses of the PM are personal in nature and not incurred on government account".

Interestingly, Modi has not attended any Roza-Iftaar party after becoming the prime minister, according to reports.
