RIP Sadhana: 7 Iconic Bollywood Songs That Defined Her Career

Veteran yesteryear actress Sadhana Shivdasani, who appeared in several Hindi films during the '60s and '70s, passed away in Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital after prolonged ill-health, said reports. She was 74.




As the news broke on social media, tributes poured in from all quarters.










Sadhana, as she was credited in her films and popularly known, was one of her era's top actresses, appearing in films such as Hum Dono (1961), Woh Kaun Thi (1964), Waqt (1965), and Mera Saaya (1966). She was a fashion icon, famous for sporting an Audrey Hepburn-esque fringe that has since been popularly known as the 'Sadhana cut'.

Having appeared in some of the biggest hits of her time, Sadhana had featured in several popular Hindi film songs. Here, in no particular order, are seven of the most iconic songs that were picturised on her:
