A woman was allegedly raped on the sprawling Infosys campus in Hinjewadi area of Pune on December 27, according to media reports.

The woman was a cashier working at an outsourced canteen in Infosys. ANI reported that one of the two accused raped the woman in the lavatory while the other captured the scene on mobile on the Infosys Phase 1 campus in Pune.

Two men have been arrested and booked under IPC section 376 (rape).

The survivor and the assailants are not employees of Infosys. According to ANI, the accused had also threatened the victim not to make the crime public, using the mobile clip as material for blackmail.

PTI added: According to a complaint registered by the victim with police, the two accused -- Paritosh Baag and Prakash Mahadik -- entered the washroom when the woman was inside it on December 27.

Police have recovered the mobile phone used by the accused, according to assistant police inspector C M Suryavanshi. Further investigation into the case was on, police added.

Meanwhile, in a statement, Infosys said the incident involved one of its partners' contractual staff.

"We are investigating the matter and are working closely with the police to aid their investigation," it said.

The company also said that it has a "zero tolerance" policy against sexual harassment which extends to contractual staff as well, and all the campuses have stringent security measures in place.

Meanwhile, a minor girl has alleged that two armymen raped her inside a compartment of the Howrah-Amritsar Express, after being compelled to consume alcohol by a third jawan. The 14-year-old girl, in her statement to the RPF, said that she had boarded the train from Howrah Junction. In the train compartment, she alleged that she was first forced to drink alcohol by a jawan and then raped by two others, PTI reported quoting RPF sub-inspector P Jani.

He said, they got a message from RPF Howrah, which received a complaint from the girl's father that his daughter has allegedly 'fled' and was travelling by the train. After receiving the message, RPF raided the train when it reached Madhupur railway station.

One jawan was arrested and the other two were absconding. (With inputs from agencies)
