Sleuths from the anti-corruption Lokayukta police recovered four cars, six houses and assets worth crores of rupees in raids from a traffic police constable in Madhya Pradesh on Monday.
Head constable Arun Singh who was posted in regional transport office, Jabalpur, was accused of amassing wealth 'disproportionate to his income', said a report in The Times of India.
The officer, who had been working with the force for about 32 years, could not have earned more than Rs 50 lakh during his entire tenure, according to media reports.
But Singh, whose house was raided in by the anti-corruption Lokayukta police on Monday morning, has managed to collect over Rs 5 crore, said NDTV.
According to media reports, this is a list of things Singh and his family own:
Reportedly, Sigh hasn't reported for work for over three months -- ever since his transfer to Jabalpur. He was earlier posted at Sendhwa border barrier and complaints of corruption were received against him during this tenure.

- Two flats in his son's name
- Four cars, including an SUV
- Eight bank accounts
- 30 acre land in Rewa
