HARIDWAR -- In a shot to arm the tourism industry in the state, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has begun "free" Internet wi-fi service for the visitors at 'Har Ki Pauri' on the banks of the Ganges this New Year.
BSNL joined hands with Trimax to provide wi-fi hotspot service to the tourists.
According to Sri Ganga Sabha general secretary Ram Kumar Mishra, the visitors using Local Area Network (LAN) will be able to use the wi-fi hotspot service.
He said the tourists can share activities taking place at Har Ki Pauri with their family and friends with the help of wi-fi hotspot service.
However, the wi-fi hotspot service is free for 15 minutes for users. Thereafter, they will require to recharge their service online or buy coupons of Rs. 30 for 30 minutes, Rs. 50 for 60 minutes ,Rs .90 for 120 minutes and unlimited use for Rs. 150.
