Blues and reds, in the political palette, have spent too much time drifting away from what they were initially meant to represent. A month after the institutional murder of Rohith Vemula, students poured out on to the streets of the capital, commandeering the traditional colours of protest again. On the morning of 23 February, they gathered at Ambedkar Bhavan, New Delhi, for a march to Jantar Mantar. The media, of course, was in attendance as were various political leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal.
