Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is currently shooting for her upcoming film Sarabjit in Amristar, visited the the Golden Temple with her family.
The 42-year-old actress was accompanied by her three-year-old daughter Aaradhya, mother Vrinda Rai, and maternal aunt Naina.
The film, which is being directed by Omung Kumar of Mary Kom fame, also stars Randeep Hooda as Sarabjit Singh, the Indian national who was accused by Pakistan of being a spy and incarcerated for 23 years before dying in Lahore.
The social media had gone in a tizzy earlier this month, when photos of Hooda's 'Sarabjit-look' were released by Mumbai Mirror. The 39-year-old actor lost 18 kilos in 28 days for this role.
Currently, the film will be narrated through the perspective of Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur has hit a roadblock as the filmmakers aren't been given the permission to shoot at the Attari Border and have been trying to get approval from BSF Jawans. The team has been stuck in Amritsar for the last 20 days, says India Today.
