The Indian Institute of Planning and Mangament (IIPM) founded by business guru Arindam Chaudhuri is winding up its operations everywhere in the country except Delhi, where it will be operative only as a research and training institute.
IIPM has had a controversial run with Chaudhuri constantly at loggerheads with the University Grants Commission (UGC). UGC has accused the institute of offering unrecognized courses and degrees to students. While there is no clarification on what will happen to those who have an IIPM degree, social media had a field day thinking up alternate career plans for IIPM's flamboyant founder.

This Twitter user suggested Chaudhuri should make use of his time and get back to education.
Startup investor Mahesh Murthy suggested that Chaudhuri may now try his luck at Housing.com, now that the real estate firm is running without a CEO. Housing.com's former CEO Rahul Yadav was sacked recently by the board for "poor management of the company and bad behaviour with various stakeholders".
Some suggested Chaudhuri join hands with the sacked CEO.
