Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma might have broken last month, but they still have each other's backs.
After garnering universal appreciation for his stunning innings against Australia on Sunday in the ongoing T20 World Cup, Kohli has now stood up for his ex lady love.
On Monday afternoon, he tweeted, "Shame on people for trolling @AnushkaSharma non-stop. Have some compassion. She has always only given me positivity."
Kohli also posted a message on his Instagram supporting the actress.
Sharma, who was in a relationship with Kohli for nearly two years, is often the target of trolls on social media who crack jokes at her expense whenever India is playing.
