Three men were beaten to death by a mob in Bihar over suspicion of stealing cattle, the police told NDTV on Friday.
The three men had been seen in Saran district’s Baniyapur village early Friday morning with a truck that allegedly had cattle, the TV channel reported.
“They were beaten to death by the villagers in a fit of rage,” the police told ANI.
The men were taken to a hospital in Chhapra where the doctors reportedly declared them as “brought dead”.
According to NDTV, the families of the three men have filed an FIR against the villagers. The police have arrested three men in the case.
