A fire broke out at the MTNL telephone exchange building in Mumbai’s SV Road in suburban Bandra on Monday afternoon.
ANI reported that 14 fire tenders were present at the building and about 100 people were feared trapped.
While ANI said the fire was at the 4th floor, NDTV reported that the fire was confined to the 3rd and 4th floors.
An official told PTI that there were no reports yet of anyone being injured in the incident.
