On Monday, barely days after Housing.com sacked its CEO Rahul Yadav, the real estate site appeared to be down. The page is now displaying this message. The site was briefly up before it was taken down again this afternoon.
Alongwith the hashtags #housingdown and #rahulyadav, the page had the cryptic message "Yes! We will solve real estate, but 10X better with The Chief Architect". No one has yet claimed responsibilty for hacking housing.com. The term 'chief architect' could be a reference to the Ironman-loving former CEO Yadav.

"The Housing Board, unanimously agreed to bring Yadav's tenure to a close, with reference to his behaviour towards investors, ecosystem and the media. The Board believed that his behaviour is not befitting of a CEO and is detrimental to the company..." the company said in the statement.

Ever since his sacking, the mercurial IIT Bombay drop-out had taken to Facebook to register his protest in a series of sarcastic posts, most of which are about his favourite superhero - Tony Stark or Ironman - drawing parallels with Stark's tumultous years with a company his father helped create.
