Reliance's ambitious 4G program Jio seems to have kicked off for Indians partially. An employee referral program is underway where the employees invite people to try out the 4G services.
Reliance is offering three months of unlimited 4G data through the invites as reported by Phoneradar. Each employee can send 10 invites. Users have to go to a Reliance Digital outlet to buy a LYF smartphone along with the 4G SIM card to avail the offer.
The company is offering a bunch of benefits under this program. Apart from the unlimited data, the user gets 1500 of VoLTE (Voice over LTE) calls, HD video calls, 9000 SMS and full access to Digital life for 3 months.
Reliance has also launched a suite of 8 applications. These 8 apps are JioPlay and JioOnDemand for video content, JioBeats for music, JioMags, JioNews and JioXpressNews for reading and news, JioSecurity for safety, and JioDrive for storage. Invited users would get premium access to these applications as well.
