After recording the highest temperature in in India's history in Phalodi, Rajasthan on Friday, the brutal heat wave is now causing some roads in the country to melt.
A video recently recorded in Gujarat shows pedestrians getting stuck to the road as they try to walk across it, with the heat melting the tar and sticking to their footwear. A woman, carrying some heavy material on her head, can be seen losing her balance as she is crossing it.
While Indians in the northern states are struggling with the heat, excessive rains and cyclones have people worried in south Indian states such as Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
