There are many delicious ways to consume Oreo cookies instead of just dunking them in your milk (Oreo milkshakes don't count).
No seriously... check out how to make these sinfully yummy Oreo Pakodas. Chef Saransh Goila's recipe that serves 6-8 people (although, you probably won't want to share these) combines the best of Indian food (succulent hot pakodas) with the chocolatey goodness of a cookie.
Ingredients:
20 Oreo Cookies
1 ½ cups Flour (maida)
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 ¼ cups Milk
Few drops Vanilla Essence
2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar
Chocolate sauce to drizzle
Oil for frying
Method :
Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt. Make a little well in this thick mixture, and pour in milk and a few drops of vanilla essence. Continue to make a smooth and thick batter without lumps. If it’s too thick, thin it down by adding a little milk.
Preheat the oil, and cover every cookie with the batter and place it into hot oil. Fry until its golden. Take them out. Now coat these hot Oreo pakodas with powdered sugar and then drizzle chocolate sauce over them.
Here's what they should look like once done (serve them hot!):
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
