On June 25, 1992, a young actor with a thick head of hair and an impish, dimpled grin entered the world of Hindi cinema and, simultaneously, a nation's consciousness. With 'Deewana', starring Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti (who would pass away tragically less than a year later), a young Shah Rukh Khan played the charming Raja who swept Bharti's character Kajal off her feet.
It has now been exactly 23 years since that day, and Khan, now 49, isn't quite done charming the pants off India.
Here are a collection of scenes that came to define the career of Bollywood's very own 'Baadshah' or 'King Khan', as the multiple-award-winning superstar came to be known.
