NEW DELHI -- A Mumbai Esplanade court on Monday extended the judicial custody of former Star TV CEO Peter Mukerjea, who is under arrest in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case, till 11 January.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had earlier conducted a polygraph test on Mukerjea and sought for his judicial custody.
According to reports, the CBI officials questioned the former Star TV CEO on his personal life, his conversations with wife Indrani and his own statements during the test at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
Mukerjea was arrested on 19 November in connection with the Sheena Bora murder case.
Peter's wife Indrani Mukherjee is in prison for allegedly murdering Sheena Bora, who is Indrani's daughter from an earlier relationship.
