The Internet Is Loving Masaan Director's Soppy British Airways Commercial

In one week, we had two videos portraying India. One was that Coldplay video, that received much hate for culture appropriation and now the latest commercial by British Airways that people are gushing about on the Internet.

The latest commercial of British Airways, titled British Airways: Fuelled by Love, is a short film directed by acclaimed director Neeraj Ghaywan who's debut feature film Masaan had won two awards at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015.

The video showcases the story of how a British Airways crew member Helena Flynn falls in love with India during her first visit to the country.

The story is based on a real-life incident of the cabin crew member who meets an elderly Indian woman passenger on the flight, and forms a special bond. The lady then invites her to visit her home in Hyderabad and Flynn shares a meal with her family.

She leaves India, but keeps the fond memories of the country.

The Internet adores the advertisement and can't stop talking about it. It's been trending on Facebook since yesterday.
