NEW DELHI -- Robert Vadra, Bharatiya Janata Party's favourite punching bag, was at the heart of the ruckus which engulfed the Lok Sabha on the monsoon's session third day.

Two BJP lawmakers moved a privilege motion against Vadra, Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, over his remarks against the ruling party on Tuesday.

"Parliament begins and so do their petty diversion political tactics... People of India are not fooled. Regret to see India Led by such so called leaders," he wrote on Facebook.

Speaking in Lok Sabha on Thursday, BJP leader Prahlad Joshi said that Vadra had "demeaned" lawmakers.

"He cannot do that...Nobody can do that," BJP's chief whip Arjun Ram Meghwal told Speaker Sumitra Mahajan in the lower house of parliament.
