NEW DELHI -- Shortly after Alka Lamba accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of organising an attack against her while she was conducting an anti-drugs drive near Kashmere Gate on Sunday, CCTV footage, which shows the Aam Aadmi Party lawmaker vandalising a shop, has emerged.
The CCTV footage shows Lamba entering a shop with her supporters, and pushing the billing machine off the counter.
In a series of Twitter messages on Sunday, Lamba said that the incident, captured by the CCTV, occurred after she was attacked.
On Sunday, AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh said that Lamba was conducting an anti-drugs drive early in the morning, when
a man inside the Shiv Mishthan Bhandar hurled a stone at her. AAP has alleged that the shop is owned by BJP leader O.P. Sharma
While dubbing the incident as a publicity stunt orchestrated by AAP, BJP said that Sharma does not own the shop from which the stone was hurled at Lamba.
